I already said that he tested positive for coke, and again, he HAD power. Only at 168 though, because he was a weight bully. He doesn’t have it at 175 because either he flushed out whatever he was taking before, or because he can’t really weight bully light heavyweights when they all probably rehydrate close to the cruiserweight limit, which is too much for Burgervidez to try and crack.
>his opponents are better
That is also a factor, but the expectation was that he’d break them down over time and secure a KO win. After the Morrell and Gvozdyk fights, and seeing who else is at 175, he’s legit not going to crack any of them. He cannot weight bully anymore.
And where is this “I hate Benavidez” narrative coming from? At most, I’m a huge critic of the guy, but by no means do I hate him. After all, Mexican-Americans are more likely to become phenoms out the gate than regular Mexicans.
>proof?
Besides the lack of proper Mexican talents of the past like Chavez Sr. and Marquez, and one superstar who’s a different breed compared to most in Canelo, picrel shows that Mexicans can’t cut it when the lights are shining a specific way.

YDKSAB, he was at 168 for 10 years without having ever been hurt (he did get dropped though) and being able to actually hurt his opponents with more than just his flurries, he literally is one of the biggest weight bullies ever but he goes under the radar since he somehow never went undisputed, but Canelita did.
