Why can't I get anyone I know to introduce me to someone? I've had no luck otherwise, but when I ask, they all tell me "You're a good guy, you'll find someone eventually". When I ask for help, nobody takes me seriously, it's either that or they say they will, but it never happens. What is going on?

Family, friends, coworkers, doesn't matter. No one offers to introduce me to anyone, and if I ask, it never happens.

So if sex and friendship are needed to achieve optimal physical and mental health, but you can't get those things, what do you substitute them with to achieve the same effects?
