I'm literally going for all achievements right now already 102%'d the best game, crash 2 and I can definitely say that the jump controls ARE shit. Getting the platinum on the second bridge level in crash 1 was a fucking terrible experience, it was a coin flip whether my jumps were too short or too far. I ended up giving up and sticked to the rope cheese
Still better than the PS1 versions though, I fucking hate 30FPS despite growing up with the goddamn PAL PS1
