Live in southeastern US. Dad just said he'd take me on a trip anywhere in the continental US for 3 days for my birthday but I have literally no ideas. Only places I've ever had a specific interest in traveling to are historical castles in Europe or that one thermal bath in Hungary. Can anyone recommend something? These are the only criteria that come to mind at the moment
>super paranoid about crime so don't want to go somewhere we might get shot
>not super rich so can't go somewhere like a swanky ski resort in Colorado
>don't want to go through Vegas because that would encourage dad's slight gambling addiction
>don't want places that would involve activities that'd put physical pressure on dad like a strenuous hike in the mountains
>do generally like any scenic outdoor locations
>have already been to Yosemite and NYC in my childhood
