Neutron bombs are my favorite. Low explosive yield, next to no fallout yet they absolutely eliminate all life 900 meters out and anything within 1500 meters would die in a few days from radiation poisoning. Meanwhile the ground would be immediately occupiable afterwards. It's the giant sledgehammer that is nukes developed into a scalpel that can be used as a tactical weapon.
