Ive had a crack theory for a while that all the modern inconveniences (Subscriptions, billions of different streamimg services, companies suddenly deciding to shit the quality up on a product, etc etc) is just one big communist psyop to make people yearn for it after decades of anticom propaganda, because strict centrallization and all that shit communism brings would be more convenient than to pay for twenty different services that all do the same thing.
