Anon, I heavily suggest you rewatch the Peridot episodes of the show. She's developed a lot as a character unlike your claim of her only being a silly gremlin and doing nothing else. I agree she's a character of wasted potential but she absolutely got a lot of interesting developments like her discovery of metal powers after trying to shapeshift, she might be silly but that's not everything she is after she became a crystal gem. The way she helped Steven during the nightmare episode for example was super cool
