My mom pulled this shit just once so throughout the day I kept doing chores around the house like cleaning the bathroom or doing the dishes. I remember her expression seeing me cough around clean dishes and that was the straw that broke the camels back for her. She told me and I quote verbatim "do anything fucking else but contaminate our clean dishes." Thats how I got to play vidya. For good measure any other time I was sick I offered to help do chores and she just told me no thats ok.
