If you are a cook you work with pans, ovens and hobs. If you are a carpenter you work with hammers, nails and saws. If you are a WASP you work with people, machines and money. WASP culture is simply the culture of higher education, business management and capital ownership stretched out over 200 years of "old money".

The WASP thus takes on the characteristics of someone who succeed at this profession, which are not culture specific and you can adopt if you are willing to make some big changes to your mentality and attitude to life and go out of your comfort zone. There is nothing more cringe than a narcissist proudly proclaiming "I'm smart!", certainly you need a level of intelligence to pass your series 7 exam or some other key finance or business qualification, but technically you don't even need to be some preppy WASP to simply own a business. The lululemon guy was originally a surfer dude, he simply hired the expertise he needed. It only really matters if your personal oversight in law or accounting or something is essential to the business or perhaps when the business is small and it saves you having to pay someone to do the job, for stretchy women's yoga pants, not so much.

More important than raw memory and mathematical ability are well refined reasoning skills, the ability to size up a situation, to break it down logically, to minimize cognitive errors like leaping to conclusions or confirmation bias. To realize when to press the attack and when to withdraw without folly or fancy. A streetwise negro is perhaps well placed to accomplish the same, assuming they have the self-discipline to solve all the little nitty gritty technical matters that arise when trying to execute a plan.
