Let me guess how next episodes will go:
The cast will start doubting Caine's claims about not being able to manipulate them, the NPC escaped the adventures and has been watching them for some time, he will tell them there is an exit and Caine has been messing with their memories because he NEEDS a cast for the circus and/or a purpose and if everyone leaves he has nothing.
The reason the NPC escaped the adventures was because episodes ago Zooble short-circuited Caine, allowing it to escape the adventure realm by coincidence and witness how Caine was brainwashing the main cast.
