I have a flux core welder, I've gotten pretty good at it but it's a cheapy one that's AC so there is a ton of splatter, but I welded and it helded.

I would like to get a proper MIG welder or TIG, but my work area is not insulated. I also live in a region where it gets really cold in winter and decently warm in the summer. The past few years, it's gotten well below zero in winter and had weeks of 100+ days.

I am concerned if I go to MIG or TIG, the temperature in my work area could damage the argon tank used for shielding gas. Am I just being paranoid?
