When? Seems like every time these argument and fallacies are brought up it's always when very obvious and universally agreed on degen shit gets taken down.

Western media has been trash for a long ass time. Sexy women where always just a mask to cover the fact that what they're producing was shit because perverts would buy it and claim it's good purely on if they get a boner or not. Just look at gatcha games, absolute dog shit but people still defend it and play them because of porn. If anything getting rid of sexy girls in games is a good thing because now people actually judge the games based off if they are actually good.
Also the argument that "just because I jerk off to cartoons about pedophilia doesn't make me a pedophile! Just like how games or movies about violence doesn't make me a killer!" doesn't hold up either because you never see serial killers or other highly violent people becoming that way because of their over consumption of violent media, but sex addicts and pedos always end up being people who over consume porn and sex.
