If Merc turns out to be dominant and (god forbid) Jorj wins or fights for a WDC in 2026, Merc leadership won't be as inclined to fork out the big cash and put up demanding demeanor of Verstappen and his camp; same goes for any other team that might win next year.
Sadly AMX has two out of touch boomers whispering exactly that in his ears. His career might be over prematurely if he stays for '26.
