I'm sure there are some lessons learned from Afghanistan for dealing with mountainous regions but also the objective would be different. Plus, as you say, the people are more secular, probably a bit more educated so maybe less of like herding cats as it was with Afghanis. But who knows. At least I think we'd get more drone footage
