He's literally from New York, his costume is red white and blue, the daily bugle is modeled after the NY Post (in the raimi movies anyways), the American flag scenes in the Raimi movies, the locations in the stories are mostly based off of real places in NYC, etc
Spiderman is only behind Captain America and Superman in Americaness
