Post your plate carrier exactly as you had it set up on that FTX. The most likely scenario is you have it set up in some dumb way and you buying a new plate carrier will do nothing to help as you'll set up the new one in a similarly dumb way. I was issued pic related and made it work through plenty of trips to the field.
