Jesus uses the name Gehenna when he says this, referring to the literal actual place the valley of Gehnna/Hinomm which was a physcial location in Jerusaleum where dead bodies were burned. Since at the time Jesus was using it as a figure of speech to describe how non-believers will be cast out and destroyed (like throwing waste/corpses out of the city) and the concept of Hell inspired by Hades was a later addition syncretized into Christianity, JWs therefore don't accept Hell as a thing and dismiss it entirely. They also base this on the fact that it's never mention in the old testament and in fact in the old testament an alternative death state/word is described - Sheol - which describes being asleep in darkness forever. The word Tartarus similarly gets used in one of the epistles so in order for it not to be a contradiction JWs figure that it's just where when you die you're just dead and Hell isn't real and Jesus was just referring to the firey pit in a figure of speech manner.

>the Bible is a bibliotheca, a library of books for the church
>The gospel is a word within the church
the books were each written individually over time long before the early Christian church existed so they are not the church, they are God's divinely inspired word written by various prophets throughout time. The written word of God >>>>>>>>>>>>> the institution of the church in the worldview of the JW. The institution is of no importance hence why they have minimal hierarchical arrangements and very threadbare congregation buildings. The church is considered to be the people themselves and the buildings and institution don't matter, only the word matters.
Also btw JWs think the early Christian church got co-opted by Satan and what the church turned into (Catholicism, Protestants etc) are actually the false prophets that Jesus warned of being personified by the Whore of Babylon in Revelation. JWs literally believe that (You)r church is the Antichrist.
