>Manchu cuisine = they couldn't fucking cook so they just stole all of China's cuisine when they took over the place
Again with the damn lies to try to reshape history to fit the CPC vision of China being the epicenter of the world.
The CCP wiped your peoples history and culture during the Cultural Revolution. Since then, your overlords have been trying to recreate its lost history to fit their agenda including reshaping your conquered past to reflect a contiguous & eternally sovereign existence of 'China'. But its fake.
You're not the original, at best you're just a pastiche of ancient China.
In case you're one of the millions of Chinese who never even lived in China and have ZERO idea of its true history and are filling in the void with your made up assumptions, let me tell you how it really went down: The Manchu's brought those dishes to you and made you cook it for them. -You were their vassal- They even taught you how to properly cook, especially how to make their foods as the servants you were to them.
To everyone else who's sick and tired of these blatant and pathetic lies by Chinese pinkies, you should look up the Manchu (Qing-Dynasty) work called 隨園食單, or better known in English as "Recipes from the Garden of Contentment". In it, the famous Manchu writer (Yuan Mei) make an definitive guide on cuisine and provides knowledge on cooking styles and techniques, how to best use various types of ingredients (seafood, meats, veggies, etc.), how to serve them, when to serve them, and also provides a wealth of recipes. This was the seminal work on Manchu/Qing cuisine that strongly shaped the Chinese cuisine we have today. In fact, this is the Chinese equivalent of the French "Le Guide Culinaire" by Auguste Escoffier, the definitive and foundational work on French cooking. Pretty much all of the best Chinese chef's today have studied this book and have copies of it in their personal libraries BECAUSE IT FORMED THE FOUNDATION OF CHINESE CUISINE!
