Yeah that's fair, the Camaro dash definitely isn't as egregious as the VB or S650, but I'm really picky about certain design elements feeling distracting. I even hate that the ND Miata had an ipad. Unironically ruins the car for me. I wish car manufacturers would retvrn to this layout.
No doubt sliding around is slower and goofy, and the reason why the gt86 subreddit is filled with daily crashes, but the 86 isn't a serious car. It has fun factor going for it which you can't quantify to /o/ benchracers. Losing the rear is also really forgiving in an 86, a baby on xanax could save it in oversteer with the laziest countersteering input
