More importantly, he looked bad because the techniques he used to ward off his opponent were laughably bad.
You'd think that he's hiding some super hadouken technique or a Raging Demon technique like Akuma. Or maybe Sandwich would tease some kind of super powerful and perfected version of Divine Demon that test drive on Setsuna and we'd hear about the horrors of that power from offscreen in the aftermath. But no. It's just basically Indian burns.
