NTA. I'm that guy who got the family and all that. I'm a Millennial who's happily married, has three good kids and a well-paying job, and we own a home. And I sometimes wonder: Why me? Because I didn't earn this. I try to follow Him, but I don't always succeed, and I certainly don't succeed enough to deserve all the blessings He gives me. But He has given them to me anyway.

Our real treasure is in Heaven. He doesn't promise that we'll have nice things or a happy life here on Earth. Instead, He tells us that Heaven is infinitely better than anything that anyone could ever have on Earth. No matter how good my life might feel, it would be worth giving up everything to reach Heaven. He hasn't asked me to give up everything yet, but if He ever does, I pray I'll be strong enough to follow Him. It sounds like He has chosen not to give you material things on Earth, but He will still raise you up, and in Heaven, you will be greater than the angels. I hope that one day, I meet you there.
