These are ponies but if they were born as batponies. The 2nd batpony RD is if she was turned into a batpony like Fluttershy, becoming a hybrid of a pony and an actual bat rather than a species of pony that just has bat characteristics. They have different ears and wings and the traditional batpony has muted and purple tones rather than the desatured pastels that the Flutterbat type ponies have.
