Don't blanks have a lot of downsides and struggle to breed because ugly/smelly?
How are you going to travel across the galaxy?
How many aeons would be needed before the warp was no longer a nuclear blasted hellscape? Can it ever not be?
What are you going to do about the tyranids, necrons, deldar and orks? How long until the T'au "win" and just make a new warp?
The Imperium's existence seems to be fine with the warp. You just need to prevent:
>an entire planet as populated as Terra or the Eldar Homeworld from creating a fifth chaos god
>the son of the son with daddy issues from deleting whatever's containing the warp now before he Age of Emperor's the setting

The lore, and especially the books, do lean into the magitech too hard. And unlike the Imperium who are rationing their half understood nuclear bombs to last deep into the night, or the Eldar who have infinite nuclear bombs but no victory condition, the Necrons are just a dementia riddled grandad stumbling drunkenly through an unlit cellar of hydrogen bombs with the rats hoping he can't remember the launch codes. They're just another Age of Sigmar button pusher.
