No, they doubled down on what made KF2 awful, and added every single awful thing in modern videogames including HUD elements everywhere, heroes and fucking Overwatch Ultimates.

Official maps are all cramped, poorly designed chokepoint filled trash they all look like trash and lack ambition.
And it only makes the combat which is way faster than KF1 since enemies will catch you in 3 seconds flat, a fucking mess.

Plenty of custom maps are not only creative but expansive as well and work much better with the faster pace of the combat.
