Be patient, the Void in the comics has often also been about taunting and tormenting and not killing people outright, like the Hulk.

She was so young I'd think she was mostly confused unlike the adult chararacters who definitely had deep shit to deal with. They even designed Void Rooms for other Thunderbolts but couldn't fit them in the movie.

I'm glad they scrapped most of that.

More Void Rooms could have been interesting but the movie was already running over 2 hours.
