Even if they made most of their money overseas it won't come from Europe or the US.
It would come from China, Korea, and then Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and so on.
US and Europe might be rich but Anime/Manga isn't a 10,000 yen "good" to be sold it's a mass market scale good that costs nothing and lives on Volume.
And Asia has us beaten hands down on that.

I mean look at Akiba, it's mobage from Korea and China making most of the big boy ad spaces. And thats for a reason.
