The goal of the rework according to Pablo was to turn her into an armor tank, but even with all that armor she's still relying on invulnerability to survive, only now it's her death prevention passive instead of her 4 (not speculation, this has been shown off in all the pre-release footage we've seen and even confirmed by Rebb).
Regardless of whether or not you think she'll be fine, the rework is objectively a failure because it failed to do what it set out to. The only thing it succeeds at is showing how awful health tanking has become, since she's still relying on invulnerability or shield gating despite having some of the most armor in the game.
