I'm in the market for a new television for my living room, current one is 10+ years old and only goes up to 1080p, and I want 4k minimum. I've narrowed down the choices to either an OLED (LG C4/C5, depending on what's on sale) or a Mico-LED (Samsung QN90D). I want to go OLED but I'm concerned about the reflectiveness because the living room is generally bright with southward-facing windows (not directly behind the screen, but 90 degrees to one side). Even if I were to shutter all of the blinds it's still decently bright.
Is there a best way to go about testing whether OLED will be an issue for this room? I'm thinking of just getting the television from a place that allows for returns within a decently-long period of time, like 1 month.
