You can find joy in life once you're already successful enough. But while you're not, videogames only get in the way. human beings shouldn't know joy until after they got their lives together. Unless you're a game developer and play vidya to use them as reference for your own game, or make a living out of entertainment. Now that i put it into words I feel like that falls into hypocrisy since you can only be successful by developing games if you know about vidya beforehand, but what I was trynna say is that you shouldn't waste your life with meaningless fun.
