I don't think there is hope in suicide. But I do think there is hope in life. And I personally believe that consciousness itself is the most fundamental and important thing in all of existence. And I think consciousness and life itself will continue to persist even after our current life's passing away, for better or for worse.
So if consciousness is the most important thing in existence, then that means your consciousness matters the whole world right now even as we speak, no matter how terrible or pointless it may feel, it's all that matters and will ever matter. And if you're currently experiencing negative emotions and trauma from the past right now, then the best and most truly good thing that can be done is to give justice and peace to your life and conscious experience by continuing to live on and try your best to fight for your happiness and life. Because the worst thing that could happen to you is not death itself, but instead missing out on the meaningful and positive potential of your current life and it's experiences. I wouldn't want you to live your life only to then end it because of despair and emptiness, because your life and consciousnesses is precious and meaningful, just as mine is, and instead I hope with my heart that you find a way to heal and overcome your life's despair and emptiness, and to be able to experience all the joys and meanings in life with peace and happiness in your heart until your inevitable passing in life, just as I hope the same for myself. Why? Because your consciousness is all that matters, it is the most fundamental thing in existence, so please OP, cherish it no matter how small and insignificant it may feel, don't give up hope, and continue to live and fight on.
On a more practical note, from my personal experiences, I've been able to improve my own depression by getting lots of sunlight. Light is energy, and it's important for the body and mind. Vitamin D helps too. And meds helped as well. Good luck OP
