They've had a golden egg laying goose and they let it slip away. All they had to do was to keep proper live support of the game, add new types of classes/weapons/overclocks/maps/objectives/systems. The fundamentals of this game were already amazing and all they had to do was build on them. Then they could proceed to add some micro-transactions here and there, maybe paid DLCs too, you name it. They've had it all and they shat the bed, absolutely unbelievable
