Not really, the cave gen is still pretty much the same.
So you still get used to it fairly fast and get bored of seeing the same stuff.
Also I can't believe they never did anything extreme with the caves. Some interesting looking terrain pieces, or something way more dangerous to traverse than what you get now.
It just all seems so bland.

Proceduralny generated holes and caves get boring pretty fast when you have constantly the same enemies and the same objectives with caves that do not really change how you play or use your tools/skills because in every map you use the same crap that you have to grind for to be stronger/better.
