the irony of Sig trying to cram a striker system inside the P250 FCU is that there is a shit ton of room to add a new mechanism if you rip the current p320 one out. like, one that doesnt suck total ass. and you wouldnt even have to do much. but its all a gamble if trying to save the P320 ship is worth it. the hardware + accessories could be saved from all current pistols out there, which is in the millions(?) of units. can the reputation be saved?

Sure people could throw out or destroy the $550-$1200 gun they bought, but i doubt most would do that. the guns would either sit in warehouses until sold to some sucker for dirt, sold for a gunsmith special, or sit in safes. a new mechanism would be the out the p320 hardware needs.

there is so much money dumped into accessories for the P320 by a number of different companies that im surprised a company hasnt made their own replacement mechanism.
flux, strike industries, fostech, any of the numerous slide + barrel manufacturers have big money into tooling and logistics. i dont even want to think how expensive the molds for the flux raider where, holy hell. nobody want to be the ones holding the bag of all those pistols, parts and supposedly worthless tooling.
