FF7 Remake is 1 game split into 3 so they could sell it to you for $70 each time
Why would a capitalist want $70 if they could get $210 from you?
They justify it by putting an INSANE amount of padding in the game, just tons and tons of pointless little checklist tasks in Rebirth
Also why would you spend money designing a "new IP", new characters, etc. and then only sell it once?
Of course capitalists want to milk that "IP" for all they can get
It's why Final Fantasy made X-2 and XIII a trilogy
It's why there is a million Persona 5 spinoffs including one released yesterday
