Women want a larger, stronger man. On average, taller people tend to be stronger than shorter people. Among men who don't lift, taller people will typically be stronger, and among men who do lift, taller people will typically be stronger. However, strength comes from muscle mass, so a man who is 5'6 could be several times stronger than a man who is 6'6. In the past, women just stated they want a larger man. They didn't state they want a taller man. A man who is 5'11 and really jacked will look much larger and more intimidating to most people than a man who is 6'4 and skinny. The only exception would be if the man who is 5'11 is actually shorter than you, but very few women are 5'11 and taller, and the muscle mass would still be a plus. People do associate height with masculinity and strength, but overall body mass matters more. Women are attracted to masculinity and strength. (Although, masculinity and strength are largely the same thing.)
