A support card deck is made up of 6 cards; 5 of your own and 1 borrowed from your followed list (basically a friends list, except you can "follow" people without them needing to "accept" a request. They can still choose to remove you from following them for any reason however).
The staple deck of the entire game will generally run 2 Speed cards and 1 Wisdom card. The last three slots get filled by 1 Scenario support card, which won't be relevant until later training scenarios, and two filler depending on what kind of races you are training your Uma Musume for.
The best options from the starting lineup with the longest term standing power are Super Creek Stamina and Fine Motion Wisdom.
They're good cards, but nowhere near human rights tier like Kitasan Black Speed. If you can reroll an account starting with one of them that's cool, they will give you an edge in training. But you aren't really missing out on that much without them.
