Why haven't you joined a local Miata club yet?

Sure, mine is almost entirely retired boomers, but they drive like they've made peace with god.

I just take some place in the middle of the pack. Don't have to worry about hazards ahead as the lead will radio it in.

Always finding new, fun roads and driving at least every other weekend.

Meets are very little mingle time. 30 min top before we go over the route, select radio rolls and take off.
