What makes dole whip so addicting? I've shamelessly pounded down multiple at once and I pretty much buy whatever flavor I pass by. The watermelon flavor is really great too.

Cool, I was at riverside a few weeks ago and did the boat hop. If you're into eating out/drinking with your group then I can see how that is really appealing. Not for me though. Would have rather had a gondola resort but those aren't operating for a while I believe.
If you guys are up for it, don't sleep on (literally) the resort early park entry if you wanna get a couple of the highest wait rides knocked out in like 30 minutes. Especially the avatar stuff in animal kingdom since theyre right next to each other. That would really free up that day since AK is a partial day park anyway. I think the star wars rides in Hollywood studios cuck you, at least last I was there they didn't open those til after general entry.
But of course if you just want to arrive later and skip the barbaric rat race that's definitely a good idea as well.
Are you doing only Disney? With 7 days I would run out of things to do. I didnt find the Port Orleans activities to be as conducive to resort staycation vibes as I expected.
