I love that there's no way they didn't know just how much people hated the Rathian escort quest in World, and yet still went through with making an eight hour campaign of escort quests.
Capcom are completely out of touch. Someone said in a previous thread that they probably just listen to western community managers for feedback and I'm actually starting to believe it. You add in Capcoms infamous 'localization' team that probably had at least a minor influence on what they thought a western market wanted, and you get this shit.
