It is either too late, or will be too in 5-10 years. Think of modern government like a tech startup, you work your people to death so you can sell it. Except here it isnt a sale, but a technological target that makes it so you dont need a population anymore. Doesnt matter how much fuckery you do with piles of technical debt, crunch, burnout, once you sell you win. Same with doesnt matter how fucked the birth rates are, spiraling inflation, unavailability of housing, wage collapse, mass immigration, all are means to an end.

The working and middle class will soon be unnecessary, soldiers for the meat grinder will soon be unnecessary, consent of the governed will no longer be necessary (total modern war [why didnt murrica nuke vietnam? Because politicians wanted to get reelected])

We're going back to feudal times baby, it wont be some noble with his knights and serfs, itll be some 200y/o family (thanks to modern medical advances) w/ armies of drones and automated factories
