To me one of things that makes AI limit so good is that you can easily tell this was made by someone that cares about the genre but had a cap on the budget. Some of the quest lines in the game are some of the strongest I’ve seen in the genre and this especially goes for Stone the Coffin Bearer. From the weird hostility he shows you right when you first meet him. To him giving you a coms device to call him when you see people “worshiping”. Him helping on the broken roadway was absolutely kino. Easily one of my favorite characters in the game along with Shirley. AI Limit doesn’t reinvent the wheel and some people might find it archaic because it’s slower than some of the more modern games in the genre but I easily loved it more than Code Vein, LoTF2, Steel Rising and few other titles. It hits a mid way between both types of souls likes but largely sticks to the DS1 playbook but with some of the bells and whistles of the later games.
Also finding the entrance to S.E.E.D was absolute cinema.
