Why? Like honestly, why? Isn't far more retarded to think 100% of all traitor legions blindly followed their legion into civil war? Despite the many books of the HH that focus on loyalist elements of the traitor legions?
GK supreme grandmaster Ianus was a former tson, and I don't hear people crying all the time about GK existing. They literally just ran a whole multi book story about renegade dark angels coming back into the fold. There is literally no reason not to have loyalist traitor geneseed. Traitors use loyalist geneseed all the fucking time. The geneseed itself is doesn't have dreams or goals, it's just an organ you implant in people and the Imperium is desperately short on it.
Additionally, successor chapters are way more fucking special snowflake. You are going to tell me the Black Dragons aren't way more fucking snowflakey than just having already established lore elements in the series being perpetuated?
