I noticed that too, I think the whole Porsche sketch was him making fun of his dad and other white collar guys (and himself too a bit, someone on /tv/ pointed out Sam owned a porsche when he filmed the sketch).
He brings up his dad a ton though so definitely some issues, maybe Sam wishes he could have crashed more of his dad's cars and burnt even more of his money on trips to Europe
