There's been plenty of criticism of how lifeless and empty Extreme Peace looks/feels compared to World Peace (sterile tripod shots, empty and uninspired set design etc. - though I will say, episode 2 showed improvements), but the other BIG part of directing is also extracting the best performance out of your actors.
