Lyrically gifted anons what the fuck does your brain operate like in order to get shit written? I put together my own music doing bass, drums, guitars all myself and then when it comes time to write the fuckin words I am blanked out. I can put a melody together but when I pick words to blabber over it until something clicks it all sounds boring as shit. All sounds cliche, overused, dumb, unemotive, just crap. I can listen to great singers blurt out absolutely retarded lines but it sounds good but here I am constantly worrying about how stupid the words are that I cannot deliver any sort of performance with them and want to change them up but feel like I can never find the right ones. I have gotten a dozen songs or so that have lyrics I could sing and feel and be happy with but they were about real shit in my life and are so completely unique to me and the person they're about/for (It's always my wife except two songs bitching about my exs) that I don't release them to streaming since I doubt they would connect with anyone else. I enjoy those songs, that's not the issue; I want to write some normie bullshit lyrics so I can put stuff out that is vague and ambiguous so the average listener and (You) can hear it and try to act like it fucking means something about your life or the world or some shit.
