Ok anon I get the appeal of an edgy memey thread and all but do you have to be this negative all the time? Borges is more interested in communicating his ideas and I get its not for everyone but you could just read something else that is for you, you know? Its kinda dishonest to pretend that Borges is shite, when he clearly resonates with a lot of people. Again, I understand its fun to make threads like this one but I do not think it does your soul any good in the long run. Im glad you read some of his stuff and learned that you dont enjoy it. Isnt this what reading is all about? You tried and didnt like it, its cool. We can civilly discuss why it wasnt for you but this hecking reaction-baiting type of thread is really just holding everyone back. I hope you read a lot of books you like in the near future.
