I was watching a video of some chick from Suede or Pulp or whatever dumb britpop band giving my mate Noel a bad wrap. Saying how before ‘Wasis struck it big, everyone was shitting on their Cigarettes and Alcohol demo. The girl said, “I can’t believe this is best ofwhat England has to offer” Then I saw a video of Damon taking the piss on them as well. There seemed to be hung up, and contained an extreme elitist attitude to Noel and Liams working class aesthetic.

I know there is a huge class culture war in England, so maybe “political” isn’t the right word, but I saw this video.

Literal the same point can be applied here too. There is an elitist sneer towards numetal, and then it hit me. 100% of the people having disdain for Oasis and numetal are leftists. Billy Joel, Damon Albarn, Tom Morello. They hate the music, because they hate the people that music represents. This disdain comes their superiority complex. They find that people who are drawn to that type of music disgusting, and therefore that type of music is bad.
