It gets points just from breaking away from the wannabe Hollywood blockbuster bullshit that Ubisoft and their ilk have been doing for the last 20 years. It says, "No. We can have gravitas. We can have vague things like symbolism. I will not hurt you buying your 3rd summer home."
It's not perfect. It's not the end-all-be-all. It's a phenomenal first game, though, and it's hopefully the start of an era where the direction of games is decided by people who fucking play them.
