In an up and down motion there would be more stimulation and so imagine if you will a ring that traverses up and down, perhaps 1/6th of the aforementioned quantity is then necessary, landing at 66. They could either be positioned statically at say a constructed wooden deck where Gulliver would be responsible for a horizontal motion. The friction generated would perhaps need to be lowered with an oil. Or they would have to be in 3 layers of 22, surrounding, or 6 layers of 11, themselves responsible for a vertical motion. With six layers this is difficult unless assisted by a constructed lever, then eleven levers or cranes. With three layers of 22, this is slow but almost manageable with human strength.
