The only photos of "hieroglyph isopods" seem to be from Nicky, and he lists it under Australia on his website with no other information beyond "Armadillidae sp."
I'm pretty sure it's actually just a highly accentuated morph of Cubaris murina (Armadillidae genus). Only one I can find with the right patterning and texture.
There's a million varieties of this species in the hobby because it's the shitter Cubaris for poor people who can't afford duckies.
Nicky might've found them at an expo as a project by some breeder who didn't manage to produce enough for them to be sold anywhere online. Or perhaps it has a different name and is only found in non-english communities. I think the only way you can get any more info is if you ask the photographer.
